In restaurant parlance, 'Mayfair Italian' often means overwrought, expensive food. Not so at Semplice, where, as the name suggests, simplicity wins out. The clean lines and polished surfaces of the restaurant are echoed in the dishes, served on plain white crockery. Quality of the ingredients, many of which are imported from Italy, is high.
